Gloria Swanson in “Male and Female” 1919 Dreamed that something was hunting me down. I think it wanted to devour me, but I can’t be sure.  Every time I would feel it getting too close to me, I would drop down and play dead.  This happened over and over.  I could not escape, but it never killed me, either.
