Staircase in Pratt’s Castle.  Last night I dreamed that I was following a small group of people down a steep spiral staircase.  They were so much further ahead of me that soon enough I lost sight of them entirely. I reached the bottom, which ended abruptly in an empty basement.  When I glanced up, I saw the stairs which I had just descended now stopped at the ceiling and no longer offered me an exit option.
