Jurnajka I. by ~BlackProserpine Dreamed I was an orphan child, lost and alone, and I had just arrived at the steps of a home for motherless girls.  I was taken to my rooms and introduced to the others living there; these children all had haunted eyes and avoided talking to me.  After dark I crept around the hallways and peered into the darkened rooms.  I came upon a staff meeting during which it was voted on a plan to burn the place to the ground and collect insurance money, as the children had “outlived their purpose” and “the experiment was a failure”. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned to find a small blonde girl who motioned for me to follow her.  I woke up as she was on the verge of explaining the mystery.
